Why we built the Monthly Budget Builder
Most people are paid on one schedule but bills are on different schedules. A bi-weekly paycheck, a monthly rent payment and an annual insurance premium can be difficult to compare. The Monthly Budget Builder puts all of them on the same monthly footing, so you can see what you earn, what you save, what you owe and what's left.
Private by design
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. There's no account to create, no app to download, and nothing you enter is sent to us or stored. Designed for privacy and ease.
Private? No, seriously, how do you use my data?
We only use what you give us to calculate your budget summary. We don't validate the data you provide, so you could make up your name, income, whatever. We do not store, sell, trade, barter, or give away your data. We do use Plausible to track web traffic and improve our user experience, but unlike most tracking services (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc), Plausible does not use cookies, does not track or store any identifyable information (including names, social accounts, IP addresses, etc.) nor does Plausible track you across the internet or even over sessions.

Who we are
This site is run by an individual who is tired of bloated apps and ad-driven websites that want to keep you in debt (iykyk) No fancy logo, no sales pitch: just a basic budget tool.
How do you make money
We don't :( We do refer users to organizations that align with our mission, but we do not make money off these referrals. Lucikly for us hosting this is low-cost.
Does this site use AI?
No! Well, we used AI to help with some of the coding, but we don't use AI to review your finances: just basic HTML and javascript.
